“ What I liked: the service, the tea, and ramen. Restrooms: overall very clean Sushi: fresh, spicy tuna was delicious. Why I'm taking down a star: we ordered another roll that didn't look like the picture at all and the tuna was TINY on it. Felt cheated a bit on that. Overall - worth a visit and I'd come again to check out additional dishes. ”

“ Definitely combing back here. Fast dinner-time service (we got there around 5:30p on a weekday.) Friendly staff. Good menu. Fish quality was beyond excellent, and portion size was more than expected. My dinner guest got the Chrisashi bowl and said the same thing. The only thing we could complain about was the batter on the karaage seemed heavier than expected, but that's being nitpicky--it was still tasty. Restaurant was clean, bright, with japanese decor. Definitely a lot of to-go orders, but the restaurant also started filling up around 6ish, so it's clear this is a desirable restaurant. ”
“ This has become our favorite sushi spot in the Mill Creek/north Bothell area. The food is consistently fresh and delicious and service is great. We came here again for dinner the other night and had a great meal. We ordered a bunch of rolls, including some basic rolls and some specialty rolls. I also got a miso soup. The soup was hot and delicious. All of the sushi was beautifully presented in a sushi boat and tasted as good as it looked. Their spicy tuna is definitely a must get as it has so much flavor and is delicious. I highly recommend coming here if you are craving sushi. Prices are on the reasonable side too for the area. ”
“ THE BEST NIGIRI SUSHI I have ever eaten! Since 1983, I have eaten a lot of sushi, and find the Itamae (板前) of Big Fish Sushi are truly masters at the art of sushi preparation. The waitstaff and the service provided was beyond excellent. The rice was at about at body temperature, and was sticky enough that it didn't fall apart. It did separate into individual grains once my mouth. The generous netas, were sized in proper proportion to the rice. All of the fish was fresh with great texture, and clear taste. It was sliced perfectly and artistically topped with specific exotic ingredients. The green tea ice cream was also perfectly prepared and the presentation amazing with whipped cream then crisscrossed with chocolate drizzle and topped with multi-colored sprinkles. The interior is detailed and pleasing with comfortable seating. The getas and pottery mixing plates were attractive. The tea cups were colorful! Even high quality chop sticks! The is a spectacular gem of a sushi restaurant! (I know I will regret having written this great review, because when the word gets out, there'll be lines down the street.) ”

“ Solid sushi spot to cover your sushi related cravings. There's nothing bad about the place, but it wasn't spectacular in flavors so I gave this place a solid 4. I loved what I ate and the quality was there. However, no shock factor in it being crazy good. I will still rate the place as 5 stars because the staff, food and restaurant did uphold a high level of quality. The staff was very polite and helpful to all our dining needs. The food wasn't super special but very good nonetheless. I enjoyed all my sashimi from the appetizer and my lunch box (other dishes were ate by my co workers). However, I've had better so it gets a 4/5 stars in my book. Finally the restaurant was clean, modern, and lots of space to offer. Clean bathrooms and overall a solid 5/5 establishment. It's a great place for lunch so if you want a good lunch for sushi. Come on through to big fish! ”
“ Really enjoyed our lunch here and the atmosphere. I've heard good things so we decided to try it out on a lazy Monday off. We got the pork Katsu bento box, the 3 roll special (which I love they have as an option cuz like, who only orders one roll?), and a separate more "fancy" roll. Loved everything. The California roll was exactly as expected and I loved the soft rice. The other rolls were nicely packed and flavorful, and the servers were quite nice and attentive. No negatives here so we plan on returning soon. I definitely recommend. Not a large place though so probably good to arrive early or during odd hours when possible. ”
